Wood Bathroom Vanities Break My Theory
Friday, August 1st, 2008
In my opinion, there are two types of furniture, classic and modern. Now, that’s not to say that modern can’t be classic, but generally speaking, that’s how it is. There’s classic, DaVinci, then there’s Modern, Salvador Dali, I mean they’re different, never the same. Then you have single and double bathroom vanities. They seem to take my theory and throw it right out the window. How dare they? They have beautiful wood bathroom vanities, that I’m tempted to call "classic" or "antique," but then there are a few that are simply bold and fresh and make me think "modern," all the way. Then, there is a glass sink vanity, that is undoubtedly contemporary or modern, but then throw some glass on top of a beautiful wooden vanity, and I’m proved wrong once again. I can’t win here. Maybe I should just give into it, and accept that times are changing, art and beauty are meshing into one, the once simple and separate entities are forging as one. Or maybe, it’s just the wood bathroom vanities, one can’t be sure, but I’m going to keep my eye on the situation and I will keep you posted. The bathroom vanity is also a great piece of furniture, so maybe it’s more like furniture and less like art. I’ll stick with that, so I don’t have to be wrong about my theory.
